I was a cub scout for 2 years as a youth in New Hartford NY. I have been a Scout Leader for 11 years.

I am the Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner for Arrowhead District, Daniel Webster Council, NH.

I am also a Committee member for Merrimack NH Troop 401. I have also been involved with Pack 401 for many years as Tiger Den coordinator, Wolf Leader, Bear Leader, Webelos Leader, and Committee member.

One of my recent Scouting endeavor was participating in Wood Badge NE I-243 in the fall of 2005, a fantastic experience! Check out the photos here!

I don't agree with absolutely every statement the BSA makes, but overall, Scouting is a positive influence on our youth and society as a whole. 

Some of BSA policies are simply common sense best practices.  The BSA youth protection program is excellent. If the Catholic Church would have adopted the two deep leadership rule the whole scandal thing would likely never have happened. These polices protect the both the youth and adult leadership. I know that several Churches have inquired about our youth protection program already!
